Great story, frustrating narration

Loved this book, but my attention was spent feeling irritated with the grating imitation of male voices. Scratchy like nails down a chalk board. If I wasn’t hooked on the series, I’d stop listening.

Excellent

Again a story with twist and multiple turns - the ending surprising indeed. I love the way the two cases intertwine with each other
Great listen

The best of british

Straight talking, no messing, direct and blunt. As a pommy away from home this series brings me back to grass roots. The team is well bonded and established dynamics....the ending of this book was a twist I did not expect so can't wait to see how that flows on.

An intriguing plot

Overall I enjoyed the book. I formed an idea of who the murderer was fairly early into the story but there were quite few red herrings to keep me guessing.
I found one of the narrator's voices jarring, the 'posh' educated one and its confusing when applied to more than one character.

Some of the voices put me off

Why did the narrator with a lovely voice feel she had to put on that dreadful witchy whine and that pompous “what what” RAF voice for some of the characters. Made me want to stop listening. Sadly I can’t stop listening because I NEED to hear the rest of the series.

Another fine murder mystery.

Some pleasing resolutions and further character developments. I do however find some of the character voices used by the narrator very annoying.
