When child protection worker Dana Gibson arrives in the sleepy rural town of Killarney, she has one goal in mind – locate the whereabouts of foster child Jayden Maloney and return him to care. Good mystery from the 90s!

This was a good second part of Dana Gibson’s story and she is a really likeable and relatable character. Love the 90s timeframe of Mottram’s two books. Either the author has a great memory (PF chicken) or did some good research (Glengallen). Whilst this one is not as strong in suspense as her debut novel, it still delivers a good story with a nice twist at the end.
I hope there is a third book in Mottram with a new central character.

it was a great story not to over the top

I found this a easy listen quite enjoyable nothing to complain about.Great character voices thanks
