Twisty!
Clever plot, unpredictable and deliciously twisty.
Steve Cavanagh is a skilful writer; always plenty of sub-text to chew on (when you’re not chewing your nails from the suspense)!
Narrated very capably by Stephanie Cannon.

Ridiculously contrived story. Poorly written. Awful narration.
Narrator gratingly put on a terrible attempt at a male voice for all the male characters. It came out the same for all of them, defeating the purpose. Should have just used a male narrator for the whole thing, or the female narrator should have just read the male parts in her usual voice. Quivering weak female voices also annoying. The book came with much hype but was so ridiculously unbelievable as to be laughable. I stuck with it and stuck with it waiting for it to live up to at least some of the other reviews, but nope. Dreadful.

Good twist
I liked the twist at the end and throughout the story. Steve Cavanagh has an excellent writing talent for thrillers.

Wow, great story!
I'm a fan of Steve Cavanagh's Eddie Flynn series, so pre-ordered this standalone in good faith only, (sometimes, it's the characters, notsomuch the writing style), and wow - definitely worthy of the UNPUTDOWNABLE tag! Kudos, Steve!

I enjoyed the twists and turns of this book. I am not a fan of this narrator and am in love with Adam Sims (not possible for this book as it needed to be female).
I struggled as I need more Eddie Flynn and I really enjoy the court cases.

They keep getting better
I have listened to all of Steve Cavanagh's books and I give 5 stars to every one of them. I must admit I did not see the final twist right until the end. Brilliant!

Excellent read
Kept me engaged from the first page.
Love when a twist makes me take a sharp breath and mutter ‘Noooo!’ and there were many of these moments.
