Fantastic finish to the first Kage trilogy!
MMA fighter, Michael Kage, and his boyfriend, Jamie Atwood, have once again settled their differences and Kage is embarking on a successful MMA career; unfortunately, they’ve never been in more danger. This has been a great trilogy, with loads of the high drama that Maris Black excels at. Maris finally reveals the tragic details of Kage’s past and just how controlling his uncle, Peter Santori, has been. I won’t spoil but this answers heaps of questions raised over the trilogy and the ending is super-satisfying, though, of course, it’s a HFN since there are three more books. Audio narrator, JF Harding, can’t put a foot wrong - perfect pathos and pacing!
