Drew's life had fallen apart. He was middle-aged, estranged from his wife and son, and stricken with a fatal disease. Things changed however when the beasts invaded. I like how it's a cultivation book where the MC is learning how to cultivate on his own there are no sects basically no help at all it's all trial and error it's actually a nice change to my usual
