About this listen
Passion, tide, and time - the third book in the legendary Poldark saga. Cornwall, 1790. Ross Poldark faces the darkest hour of his life. Accused of wrecking two ships, he is to stand trial at the Bodmin Assizes. Despite their stormy married life, Demelza has tried to rally support for her husband. But there are enemies in plenty who would be happy to see Ross convicted, not least George Warleggan, the powerful banker whose personal rivalry with Ross grows ever more intense.

Cornish Delight
Superfab....loved every moment of this rugged windswept novel ofl 18th Century Cornish life. Plenty of plot lines woven to make an interesting rustic tale of love, life and loss in this remote part of England

Great narrator makes Poldark come to life
Superb narration by Oliver J Hembrough brings an immediate authenticity to this volume of the Poldark series. I cannot praise him highly enough for his portrayal of the characters.
Personally I wasn’t as keen on book 3 as the previous two books in the series, finding the court & assizes section a little drawn out.
However it is part of the series and has its merits, so cannot be missed out if you wish to follow the whole series.
