Mit fünfzehn las ich einen englischen Kriminalroman. An den Namen des Autors und an den Titel erinnere ich mich nicht. Ich weiß nur noch, dass die weibliche Hauptfigur in diesem Buch Jennifer hieß. Der Name gefiel mir. In einer Zeit der Annas, Marias und Franziskas erschien er mir beinahe revolutionär. Seit damals wusste ich, dass ich meine Tochter Jennifer nennen würde, sollte ich je eine bekommen.
