Quick and easy read, enjoyable detective novella

Quick and easy read, an enjoyable detective novella. I liked that it was told from Moriarty's right-hand man, Captain Moran.

Brilliant

An exceptional concept that Weir has brought to life with exquisite attention to detail. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would be proud, in fact he'd likely be confused as he wouldn't remember writing it, The narration is also of an excellent calibre, and perfect for the subject. well done to all involved

A great take on the Holmes criminal equal

A great little story (stories) to have in your pocket. Listen to this in conjunction with Sherlock Holmes stories to get a grasp of James Moriarty. Well written and interesting, hopefully Weir has more Moriarty stories to offer.

Fun view point

Love Andy Weir and Sir Doyle, so this was great fun. Also interesting having it framed from the criminals perspective.

So very entertaining!

I thoroughly enjoyed these short stories! So cleverly written, I wish there were more. The narrator is a pleasure to listen to.

Good Fun

Interesting read to have the main characters as the dark side, parallel to Holmes and Watson…
It is a pity there were not more stories

A fun little tale

Andy Weir demonstrates his writerly chops once again, this time giving us a look at the villainous Moriarty's early exploits in evil.
If you're a fan of Sherlock Holmes, or little mysteries, get this one - it's short, but sweet!

Bravo

after just listening to the 71 hours of Stepehen Fry's narration of Sherlock Holmes on audible, this was a splendid dessert. I have enjoyed three of Andy Wier's books previously and this novella is of the same high standard. and it is so true to form of the original sherlock stories

Great premise, left me wanting more

Took a while to develop the characters, and finished too quickly! Will look for additional Moriarty titles :-)
