About this listen
I don’t want Jason Vega. Not at all. It’s the worst idea ever. Ah, hell...
Jason is handsome. Smart. Dangerous. Hot. He’s goddamn gorgeous - but he’s also sleeping on the street, hanging out with the local biker gang, and selling his body for a living.
Our lives, our paths, couldn’t be further apart. I’m crawling toward the light while he’s falling into the dark.
But it doesn’t matter how different we are or what logic dictates.
I really shouldn’t want Jason Vega - but I just can’t stop.
He’s under my skin and sinking deeper....
Trigger warning: violence and sexual abuse. This is a M/M (gay) romance that tells the story of Jason and Raine, who appeared in the Damage Control series. It is super hot and angsty and violent but with a guaranteed happily-ever-after.

just a tad too long
I don't normally listen to MM tropes, but I love Jo Raven and all the damaged boys, so I really wanted to listen to this book.
i enjoyed the suspense that came with the plotline, and It was a relief to see more get out.
a lot of past characters pop up, and it was wonderful to hear a small part of their story.
their was a scary twist just when you think all is right with the world.
the only thing I struggled with is the huge internal monologue between the H's, the back forwarding in their minds Was a little frustrating.
and there were huge sex scenes over and over that kinda made R act like the typical horny male. even when J needed more mind nurturing.
I thought that should have been a bit slower.
I see that Jo wrote this in the view of a young man who knows nothing but pain and sex and secrets...so I accept that.
Narrators were brilliant as usual and Teddy narrated a completely type of narration.

overall good 👍
story was actually good and narrators where awesome but it felt a bit too long, the inner monologs tended to be quite long and repetitive other than I liked it, and finished it in one sitting.
