About this listen
On November 22, 1963, the 35th president of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, and his wife Jackie were taking part in a presidential motorcade through Dallas. Thousands lined the streets cheering; others hung out of windows to catch a glimpse of the much-loved First Lady and President.
Suddenly, the unthinkable happened. Three shots rang out. In front of the world, John F. Kennedy was fatally wounded. Lee Harvey Oswald was caught. But did he pull the trigger? Who really killed JFK? Fifty years after the tragic events in Dallas, JFK: The Smoking Gun solves the ultimate cold case. With the forensic eye of a highly regarded ex-cop, Colin McLaren has gathered the evidence, studied 10,000 pages of transcripts, and found the witnesses the Warren Commission failed to call, and the exhibits and testimonies that were hidden - until now.
JFK: The Smoking Gun proves, once and for all, who killed the President. And the answer is far more shocking than any fanciful conspiracy could ever be.

Its Good But...
According to this book....
Secret service behind JFK accidentally killed him
LHO WAS on the 6th Floor Shooting a gun
ONLY 3 Shots
LHO killed Tippet
Ruby Killed LHO purely for Jackie
Neck wound WAS EXIT wound
Uses Warren Commission as fact when suits the narration
Uses witness testimony as FACT (from Warren Commission)... Swore under oath... So Couldn't be lying vibe
Whenever said witness uses the word "They"... "They killed the President", its implied that said person is referring to the Secret Service when the word "They" is used... Drawing a long bow
it IS a good theory but at the end of the day we will never know

Brilliant
Isn't your usual far fetched conspiracy theory. It's the only way it all makes sense.

Incredible
I can honestly say I absolutely got sucked in by this great and informative book, narration was great. But the book itself was a treasure trove of proof and information!... in the end I was convinced! Well done to Colin McLaren!! 5 stars

Absolutely incredible
I’ve just finished listening to this book, and in a sense I’m lost for words.
The dedication shown by Colin McLaren in researching this event, breaking it all down to accomplish this book is to be applauded.
The number of times of found myself talking back to the events I heard in sheer disbelief, and yet the research had been done, it actually happened, and more to the point, it made sense. No unanswered questions, the facts were there.
How could such an event be swept under the rug is beyond me.
I absolutely recommend this book to anyone considering listening to it.
It is incredibly well narrated too by Grant Cartwright.

Is this a fiction or non fiction account
If Colin was a detective he mustn't know what circumstantial evidence means. He ties together wishy washy evidence time after time to advance his story without any evidence to the truth. Like when he said Oswald had a spare casing in the chamber to save the barrel, that Oswald didn't fire 3 shots...
Them there is the blatantly wrong facts in the book. Like saying David Ferrie died four days after the assassination, and how it inconvenienced Jim Garrison.
The best one is how he said JFK was she from the back, the bullet must have done a u turn and came out the back too...
Don't bother
