Days into his honeymoon, FBI agent Jerry Simmons is ordered back from the Caribbean when the president of the United States plans an unexpected visit to South Florida, at a time when the Bureau receives Intel of a planned bank robbery. Upon Simmons' return, his duties, a high-speed pursuit, and ensuing gun battles cause his young bride to fear for his safety and second guess the marriage. Their eventual separation and death of his long lost friend bring Simmons back to his hometown where he meets the pastor who led him to Christ, and Zoe, the teenage niece Simmons never knew. Her visit and his struggle to stay married while a revenge-seeking drug lord recruits parolees to kill him put Simmons' Christian faith to the test, but through incessant prayer and counsel from a former pastor, the young agent finally brings a resolution to his life.
