This book materialized in response to the need for a beginner’s guide to the message of Isaiah, one that captures its main points in a single volume. This is a simple handbook—one that nevertheless has depth. Taking simplification even further, Chapter One, “Overviews of Isaiah’s Prophecy,” summarizes the main points of Isaiah’s message in itself, while the following chapters expand upon them. Of necessity, therefore, some redundancy exists as Isaiah’s prophecies are explained first in part and later more fully.
