Well hello to you dear audiobook browser. Now I have your attention it would be rude if I didn't tell you a little about my literary feast. So, here is the thing: Is it just me or does anyone else find that adulthood offers no refuge from the unexpected horrors, peculiar lack of physical coordination, and sometimes unexplained nudity that accompanied childhood and adolescence? Does everybody struggle with the hazards that accompany, say, sitting elegantly on a bar stool; using chopsticks; pretending to understand the bank crisis; pedicures - surely it's plain wrong for a stranger to fondle your feet? Or is it just me?
I am proud to say I have a wealth of awkward experiences - from school days to life as an office temp - and here I offer my 18-year-old self (and I hope you, too, dear listener) some much needed caution and guidance on how to navigate life's rocky path. Because frankly where is the manual? The much needed manual to life. Well, fret not, for this is my attempt at one and let's call it, because it's fun, a Miran-ual. I thank you.

Glad I listened instead of read.
Miranda has managed to make her book sound even funnier as she performs it.

Absolutely wonderful
I absolutely LOVED Miranda's book! It was awesome to have her narrate it. I don't think it would've been the same if I just read the book.
Thank you Miranda Hart 💜

Absolutely hilarious and wonderful
As soon as I started listening I was hooked and laughing out loud. I watched the ‘Miranda’ sitcom a while ago and I think that if you enjoyed the sitcom, you’re going to find plenty in this book to enjoy too - and if you haven’t watched the sitcom and you enjoy this book, go watch the sitcom.
Having Miranda Hart narrate the book herself was an added bonus, she did a great job.

For anyone who has thought "Is It Just Me?"
What made the experience of listening to Is It Just Me? the most enjoyable?
Miranda made me think about myself, my life. She shares what we all think but rarely say. That it's okay if we aren't always perfect, that in this media and image obsessed world that there is more to life than looking and appearing to be perfect, that it's not necessary to live your life by anyone's expectations but your own.
What did you like best about this story?
Miranda Hart has a talent with words, despite what she might say, and her voice just brings it to life.
What does Miranda Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
If you love Miranda Hart as a comedic actress, then you would just not have as good a experience reading as you do listening. She has sound effects, puts on voices and has fantastic conversations with her younger self.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I took later trains just so I could sit on the platform longer to be a part of her world.
Any additional comments?
Miranda Hart was always going to be a funny writer, but I've found more depth than could ever have imagined. She's given herself to this book, honestly and without shame and it has made me want to live my life more like she does. Truly honored to have read it.

Weird, but in a good way
Miranda, if anyone has heard her speak, has a very distinct voice, which makes her reading the story all the more enjoyable. It's her, speaking about herself, and half the time speaking to herself (her younger self, to be exact).
She speaks openly about her life in various categories, from health, music, dating to even the wacky world of weddings. All bundled up in a well versed, and quite funny book. And for an added bonus, it even comes with interactive activities.
Miranda has a great knack for grabbing the reader and making them feel at home.
A wonderful, jolly good read
