After nearly a decade as a professional drummer, Diana Petrell leaves her rock-star life behind to continue her residency in emergency medicine. She's determined not to let anything stop her - not even falling in love with her aloof mentor, Dr. Emily Barnes.

I’ve listened to it multiple times...
One of the best LGBT books i’ve read/listened to.
Strong characters and character development. Really good narration, one of the best voice i’ve heard, very smooth and easy to listen to.
Storyline is good, believable and very enjoyable.
Other recommendations:

Queer medical dramas will forever hold my heart!
Sweet, little queer medical drama.
Loved the addition of an alternative doctor as well!

A nice listen
The story is slow to get going and I did not warm to Emily at first. But but the third chapter I started to love the book. I must admit I skipped over the first two chapters as I did not get the characters. But once I got into it I had to go back to the beginning to pick up on the bits I had missed. A lovely book to listen to.

Strong characters
