enjoyable
i adore David Gemmel. and I usually adore Adjoa's narration too but i found her voice to be quite grating and off putting for this story.

Narrator SPOILED!! The Book
I have been an Avid reader of David Gemmell for many years, I especially looked forward to listening to Ironhands Daughter & The Hawk Eternal..BUT the narrator was so hideously terrible to listen too!!, I could not concentrate on the story let alone enjoy it..I am so dissapointed in the fact i purposely purchased credits soley to get these two books, the narrator was screechy! with a sharp ugly tone, not to mention the horrible accents he/she placed on the characters, when you read Davif Gemmells books you can vividly picture the scenes and characters along with that you can imagine the tones of the voices of the characters that pair with vision of them, this narrator sorely misrepresented all the characters, I would prefer to have Sean Barrett narrating these books even though the main character is a woman, Andohs voice dispelled the mystery of her, I am so angry I wasted my credits buying these books, ezpecially because Ironhands daughter is the main heroin a woman whose story & character you could identify with...and spoiled by ugly voices, no deep strong or soft tones just ugly screeching!, please re record these books with Sean Barrett 🙏 I dont think David Gemmell would have been impressed either, its not how he would have wanted his characters to sound im sure. using this narrator was a terrible judgement to make im so disaaponted in the books, probably the only one who feels this way, but im such a fan of David Gemmells books so is my partner & he felt the same when he listened to it we both cant listen to the books now, so i now have two books i cant listen too and wasted credits i couldve used to buy other David Gemmells, thats how terrible the narrator is!..iI would give 5 stars easily if Sean Barrett had read them, he does justice to David Gemmells characters..please fix narration 🙏
