About this listen

This is Hassan Radhi's account of the happenings in Iraq, through the course of peace, freedom, occupation, and change. It contains the intense narrative of the sojourn of the American forces through Iraq and the long struggle to peace and freedom.

This book states, without any form of bias, the events that went down in Iraq and the Middle East before, during, and after the occupation of Iraq by the US forces. Hassan Radhi steered a middle course in bringing forth the truth from the perspective of one who saw it all. The volume contains the truth about the past and present realities in Middle East.

Hassan Radhi was born in Iraq in 1963. He lived in Iraq until he moved to South Dakota in 2007 where he currently lives as a permanent resident with all rights and privileges. He worked as a translator with the US forces in Iraq from 2003 to 2008, he steered out with rank of Second Lieutenant. Due to his impressive service during that period, he got promoted to the rank of Major in the service of the US forces.

When the United States Congress made the decision in 2006 to grant permanent residence in US for the best interpreters, Hassan Radhi was one of the few that were chosen.
