春の七草とは、お正月頃に採れる7種類の野菜のことで、つまり日本のハーブ。体に優しく、早春にいち早く芽吹くことから、食べると邪気を払うといわれました。
多くの家庭では、お正月にはおせち料理など、濃い味つけのごちそうをたくさん食べるため、胃がもたれるもの。
