Omurice is one of the most well-known "Western foods" born in Japan between the Meiji and Taisho periods.

オムライスは、明治時代から大正時代にかけての日本で生まれた広く知られた「洋食」のひとつ。
一般的に、油で炒め、トマトケチャップで味付けしたご飯を、オムレツで包み、ケチャップをかけたものです。
ケチャップの代わりにデミグラスソースやホワイトソースをかける場合もあります。
