كان المنظر ساحرًا يخلب الألباب...أمواج البحر الهادئة ترتطم في إيقاع موسيقي بجوانب الباخرة الكبيرة...

وبين الركاب وقف أبطالنا وقد امتلأت قلوبهم بالنشوة والسعادة لهذه الرحلة الرائعة التي سوف يقضون فيها إجازتهم، وفجأة بدأت حركة نشطة على الباخرة، كان جميع الركاب يسرعون في الحركة متجهين إلى مقدمة المركب ويتكدسون عند أسواره فقد كان المركب يتجه إلى ممر إنترانتو وهو نفقٌ ضيق بين جبلين تمرّ فيه الباخرة لتدخل بحر الأدرياتيك ويعدّ هذا المنظر من أجمل مناظر العالم...

ما إن أصبحت الباخرة في منتصف الممر حتى بدأت طائرة هليكوبتر تطير فوقها وتقترب أكثر فأكثر..وبدون سابق إنذار وفي لحظاتٍ خاطفة أسقطت الطائرة مجموعة كبيرة جدًا من القنابل المسيلة للدموع والتي انفجرت فورًا لتصنع كمية ضخمة من الدخان.

لم يعرف أحدٌ ماذا حدث لكنَّ الباخرة كادت أن تتوقف فجميع الركاب يسعلون بشدّة وهناك حالات اختناق، لكن صرخة هائلة جعلت الجميع يسرعون إلى مصدر الصوت ليجدوا رجلًا يصيح كالمجنون: الذهب..الذهب!!!

ما سرُّ هذه الطائرة؟ وما قصّة السيارة السوداء التي على متن الباخرة والتي كانت تحمل كمية كبيرة من الذهب الخام؟ والأهم من ذلك كيف سيحلُّ الابطال هذا اللغز الذي فاجأهم وسط البحر؟
