A fire, a missing man and his dog send Dave and his partner Bob Holden south of Perth, to investigate. Leo Perry has been missing for two days when they realize he's probably not dead. In fact he's more likely to have left his life in exchange for a new one. But why?

Nice Australian outback mystery

Disappointed with narrator
Loved the story, as I have for all of Fleur’s other books. Didn’t like narrator at all.

Easy to listen to with a twist
