About this listen
Detective Sara Hirst has moved from London to Norfolk Police's Serious Crimes Unit. Under the brooding skies of North Norfolk, Sara faces her toughest case yet and finds that great beauty sometimes conceals great violence.
Too many secrets. Too much pain. Too many leads.
Dawn breaks as a dog-walker finds a dead body, half-naked and wrapped tightly in an old groundsheet.
Sara is first on the scene.
Who is the victim? And who will be next?
Sara must take on some of Britain's most wanted criminals if she's to find out the truth.
Contains mature themes.

Nothing
Narration was awful .
First book narration was great .
I’d listen to 3rd book only if not this narrator .

Tedious
The narration was ridiculous. Sounded like cartoon animals rather than police officers, and the mispronunciation was excruciating.
Add in the tedious plot and….
Couldn’t finish.

Crime does pay
Awful narration, really inappropriate style for characters and got in the way of the storyline.

Narrator uses grossly inappropriate voices
I read the first in the series for free and liked it well enough to use a credit for the second. I could not bare to listen to the narrator, and could not finish the book. The narrator used childish voices even for adult male villains. Perhaps the narrator would be better used for reading children's books.
