Was this book written in the 1950’s?

A book about mature women read by a bloke? Are you kidding?

I found this book generally demeaning of women. The ideas put forward on spoke to women’s indecision, fragility, lack of willpower or power in the world, inability to focus etc etc were not helpful in a booklet meaning to give help to women.

I found the language stilted and very dated. Not many gwomen over 40 are uneducated and out of touch.

The fact that Women have evolved into powerful beings that have agency in their world and can do almost anything is by my standards common knowledge. Yet I heard nothing of these powers in this book.

I was hoping for a modern encouraging book on IF ,delineating the differences between women’s and men’s metabolic responses to IF with practical suggestions for women. And offering positive practical suggestions.

For a book, about women, on a sensitive sometimes emotional subject, read by a bloke that sounded liked a robot was beyond disappointing.

Some of the information was worthwhile but it need serious editing if you really want to reach/ help modern women.
The book sounded more like a science or introductory course for physiology rather than a powerful self help tool into intermittent fasting.
