About this listen
It began with Eragon.... It ends with Inheritance.
Not so very long ago, Eragon-Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider, was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.
The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Great Audiobook (but it needs a few fixes in-app)
The book was a brilliant conclusion to the Inheritance Cycle and Gerard Doyle’s voice work made it all the better. The only complaints I do have are related to the audible entry itself, as the chapters have yet to be named (not too big of a problem) and the final chapter (of the actual book) repeats halfway through, which is not only confusing but takes away from the final scenes in the book. If this ever gets fixed it should make the experience even greater.

Tiring at times, excellent at other times
The beginning was tedious, there was no plan on how to defeat the king, and we the reader suffered through that. The middle and end was excellent. The very end was extremely hard to get through.
Some gripes - Throughout, Eragon thought some very stupid things, I assume to try to throw the reader off what was about to happen.
Increasingly, Eragon, or someone we're currently following, we the reader have insite into everything they think, but then they come up with a plan and all of a sudden, the reader is only privy to the reactions of people around our hero. Lazy writing and it happens constantly throughout this book.
But overall it was a good series.
