About this listen

Infinite2 is a bold continuation of Robinson’s best-selling science fiction novel, packed with mystery, action, and mind-bending twists.

Over a million books sold!

William Chanokh is immortal...and he’s trapped on the Galahad, an interstellar starship on a never-ending journey through open space.

His only companions are Capria - mortal and in cryo-sleep - and Gal, an artificial intelligence, and the love of his life, with whom he spends every waking moment in the "Great Escape", a virtual paradise. After untold years living countless lives, Gal begins acting strange. Possessive. Violent. Paranoid.

Positive that something in the real world is causing her to malfunction, Will attempts to leave the Great Escape, but he finds himself a prisoner. Guided by a voice from reality, he is thrust into a series of torturous narratives, each one designed to break his will and keep him trapped in virtual reality.

Betrayed by his digital love, his long-term memory overwritten, and enduring violent manipulation, Will painfully peels back layers of simulation, fighting to reach reality 1.0 - where the nightmares are real.

Maybe.

New York Times and number-one Audible best-selling author Jeremy Robinson takes listeners on a heart-wrenching journey to the edge of the universe and beyond, where distinguishing reality from simulation might be impossible.

Engaging.

wasn't sure what to expect but wasn't let down... quite complex in parts and the overall story keeps you engaged, RC Bray's delivery was exceptional as always.

Jimmy Robinson featuring R.C. Bray

Not to detract from a compelling and adventurous storyline, you cannot embark on an epic of this magnitude without a narrator that provides a visceral construct to the characters and scenes.
I have returned audiobooks in the past based on the narration of some authors but I now find myself purchasing audio books based on the narrator.
R.C. Bray provides again and again the turmoil and seemingly insurmountable situations our antagonist finds himself in.
Do yourself a favour. Spend the credit, or the money. Jeremy Robinson kicks it out of the grounds yet again and leaves you guessing the whole way through.
Thank you and I’m now searching for the rest of your novels.
Hooked me like a striped bream you have.

Jeremy Robinson and RC Bray as excellent as ever

This book is very well written and the narration is as usual exceptional by RC Bray, the story keeps you guessing all the way to the end as usual. I have only one comment on the book, you need to read the book NPC by Jeremy Robinson before you read this one, it is not essential but it will allow you to get more into the story of Infinity 2 from the start of it.

Sublime writing, excellent narration

A great sci-fi novel that keeps you on your toes, mind bending at times but Jeremy Robinson manages to keep it just on the right side of sanity, so much that you’re intrigued, a bit confused and constantly eager for the next part of the saga. As we’ve come to expect, RC Brays narration gives the novel the the justice it deserves, each character brought vividly to life and somehow keeps you so invested, that this ‘virtual’ page turner keeps you awake far longer than is healthy, but it’s worth it!

Doesn't quite live up to the first book.

I know the author specifically mentions in his notes at the end of the book that this is a different story from the first book, but it's so far removed from the original he really should have just tweaked the characters and turned it into a standalone novel. R C Bray absolutely and obviously nailed the narration - in fact I'm sure he's actually getting better every time I hear him!

Overall I wouldn't say don't listen, but if you do, and you're a fan of the first book, be prepared for a very, VERY different journey.
