Great story if you're looking to fall asleep.
The story here is very well constructed. A blend of the feels of Fallout combined with Cyberpunk-ish Litrpg.
The only stumbling point is the narration.
Roger Clark has the kind of voice that takes a few seconds to pronounce one word. It is SLOOOW.
Halfway through a sentence, you begin to forget what the start of that sentence referred to.
Not a hard fix, simply set it to x1.2 speed. But still. It's laughably bad at the normal setting.

A Great Start
this was an excellent start to a hopefully long Litrpg series highly recommend, travis baldree is a legend as always

idiot MC
great book ruined by the MC, Idiot who doesn't question anything until after stuff goes bad. has a whole inner monologue of how he didn't think it through and then does the same thing again and again.
