About this listen
New York Times and USA Today best-selling author S. E. Smith presents another adventure filled with action, suspense, and a love worth fighting for.
Indiana Wild is as wild as the Montana ranch she was raised on. The youngest of four children, she was a delightful surprise for her older parents. She spends her time training horses and cow dogs and loving the freedom of the wide-open spaces. But when her grandfather dies, she discovers that her older brothers have different plans for the ranch she calls home - and for Indiana herself.
Indiana's oldest brother is determined to tame her and bring her to live with him in Los Angeles, where he can keep an eye on her and the money she is inheriting. He believes that with a little taming, he can control his little sister's wild spirit and find her a husband who can manage her. Furious with the court order giving her older brother guardianship over her, Indiana turns to the only place she feels at home: the wide-open spaces of Montana. She is determined to avoid her controlling brothers and their greed, even if it means hiding from them until they give up. An unexpected trip through Spirit Pass takes Indiana further than she ever expected - by almost 150 years.
Jonathan Tucker is as tough as they come. He and his twin brother have cut a successful horse and cattle ranch in the harsh Montana territory. When cattle rustlers try to steal his cattle and shoot one of his men, he is grateful to the young boy named Indy who comes to the rescue, even if the boy does have an attitude. The last thing he expects is to find that the "boy" is in fact an independent, freethinking, stubborn female who's not afraid to voice her opinion. She is as wild as the untamed land around them, and he is determined to make her his wife.
When Indiana is taken from him, Jonathan will do whatever it takes to bring his Indiana Wild home for good, even if it means following her into the future.

Magical
This is a fantastical story of time travel, hunky hot cowboys and feisty sassy modern women. Indiana and Jonathan story is out of this world, it is funny, sexy and a bit of suspense thrown in to make a delicious read. (Sighs)

Fantastic in audible.
AUDIBLE 2024
Fantastic in audible but I really wanted Indiana to have dealt with her brother Hayden. Listening to this I realised we don’t get a conclusive ending in regards to Indi being kidnapped. Charging him and making him lose all that power he wanted.
I hope she didn’t let Hayden off with everything he did.
Really hope Maikoda’s story gets written.
BOOK REVIEW
Love this authors books. I was tidying up my iPad and decided to reread this series. I had forgotten how good it was and read it all in one sitting.
Well written, fun and interesting time travel story with likeable main characters and other characters. All except for Indiana’s brothers, what rat-bags, especially Hayden.
Book one is about Indiana who goes out riding to get away from her obnoxious older brothers who have sold her grandfather’s ranch out from under her. He eldest brother now has guardianship over her and her fortune.
When she ends up going through Spirit Pass she finds herself 150 years in the past and a whole new life is available to her.
Pretending to be a boy she gets a job on a ranch run by two brothers. Jonathon and Jacob are both lovely men even though they have the mindset for that time.
Love how this ended with Indiana looking after herself and will be reading book two asap.
So interesting to think how different things were only 150 years ago and also sad to know what will be happening. Cannot imagine how weird it would be coming into the future for Jonathan and Jacob.
Read this years ago and reviewed it then but reviews are missing.
