A awesome story

The story was great, but there was one issue that prevented me from giving it a perfect 5-star rating. The constant mathematics lessons throughout the story, where every measurement was repeated in both decimal and imperial units, became quite repetitive and annoying.

Great Story Annoying recording

The story is great but the audio is incredibly annoying! One moment it’s is normal then without warning it sounds like the narrator is yelling in your ear from a tin can! Sadly this happens frequently throughout the story.
It should be re-recorded
Very disappointed

An easy listen and very typical Cussler story

I alway enjoy the simple hero adventures of Clive’s. As a diver I like the technical stuff but the distance measures mean zip to me. The narrator was fine, a little over dramatic but that’s what you get with cussler adventures.

Let down in the sound editing

There is a glaring difference in sound levels throughout the performance. Mostly it sounds normal - then in the middle of sentences the narrator is suddenly right behind you talking directly into your ear.

Not what I expected

I heard a lot of good things about this author. They were overstated.
This book is so sexist, you’d think women can’t do anything for themselves and need protecting at every turn. The main character was unbelievable - he was nearly bullet proof and probably should wear an ‘S’ on his singlet.
