Perfect
I’ll admit to being a really picky audiobook listener, the narrators can make or break the book for me, but the casting here was perfection, down to nuances for side characters and especially in bringing Ginnie to life. 100000/10.

Lil Jenny steels the show
Loved this book! Different spin on a second chance love. I’d say spice is 🔥 🔥🔥 but Jenny’s antics makes it up. Lovely book without too many complications. It is emotional but the story has a good balance.

Enjoyable
The story dragged on a bit but thought the narration by Jason Clarke really lifted it overall, thr female narration a bit off. Overall and enjoyable book to listen to.

Noah and Shae
Gorgeous marriage of convenience story, loved the characters, especially Genny the 6 year old pirate. Noah and Shae were lovely and there was no big break up. Narration by Jason Clarke & Kit Swann was top notch. This is my 2nd Kate Canterbary and I’m definitely going back for more.

Beautiful and real
Loved this audio. Loved Shay and Noah. Loved the little pirate girl. Loved the plot. Loved the realism of a relationship and the heart rending facts about when someone breaks the law or when family don’t really want to understand. That’s real. It’s a beautiful story. Audio performance excellent. Both performances really did a fantabulous job.
