About this listen

Don't you love The Onion? It's full of fun spoofs that can sometimes be all-too realistic. Susie found a recent Onion article entitled "If You Wish to Be a Writer, Have Sex with Someone Who Works in Publishing". Susie loves it and she laughs along as she reads the "sincere" advice for young writers, which includes establishing a daily routine involving many ways to have sex with a publisher. If you have writers block, says the article, just move on, find a different person to sleep with, and your slump may improve!

Next, Susie talks about the best sex on TV and the worst sex-toy review. The hot new television show is actually on Netflix: Orange Is the New Black. Why is this show so sexy? It takes place in a women's prison, and there are a lot of hot chicks, steamy inmates, and rowdy lesbians. Then Susie has to tell you about an outrageously bad review of a simple sex toy. It's not that the device is bad; it's the reviewer. He doesn't seem to have a clue as to what might be important to talk about when reviewing a vibrator.

Finally, Susie has another great, hot pick from among new audiobooks available at Audible - and this one is not to be missed. When Marina Abramovic Dies: A Biography, by James Westcott, follows performance artist Abramovic, who has been doing live shows since 1969 that push the boundaries of her body and sexuality. By demonstrating the limits the body can withstand she has shocked many and made audiences uncomfortable. Susie has an audio excerpt for us to hear. The book is narrated by Kathleen Gati.
