About this listen
Actor Michael Douglas recently claimed that oral sex caused his throat cancer. Susie reads from an article in The Guardian newspaper that reveals some candid facts about the Hollywood bigwig. Douglas says that HPV, human papillomavirus, is what did him in. Susie takes a more skeptical look at his claims, saying cunnilingus doesn't cause cancer. Susie also looks at the HPV vaccine and how the sexually transmitted HPV virus can be spread.
Next, Susie takes a loving look at John Williamson, the co-founder of the Sandstone Retreat, who recently passed away. Back in the early 1970s, John and his wife, Barbara, created a haven for communal nudity and open relationships near Malibu in the Topanga Canyon. This was during the heyday of the Sexual Revolution and Sandstone attracted many followers who were interested in not only free love but challenging the traditional rules of society. Susie talks about this true free spirit.
Finally, Susie has another new sexy audiobook for us to sample. It's Down and Dirty Sex Secrets: The New and Naughty Guide to Being Great in Bed. Written by sex educator Tristan Taormino, Susie says this book is great. Topics covered are oral sex, multiple orgasms, strap-ons, S&M, and more. Taormino narrates along with Madison Vaughn and Bryce Hamilton.
