About this listen
Their monstrous foes have been driven off, but the city is far from safe.
Verdan has found more questions than answers in the time since awaking, but the world waits for no one, and new threats are drawing close. With growing suspicion of the Sorcerer Sects, Verdan must give the people of Hobson’s Point the tools to protect themselves. Failure means death and the fall of the final independent city.
Time is limited, but never underestimate a Wizard backed into a corner.

really good story
the story is great, and I do look forward to the next one. having said that there are some issues. the performance is probably the biggest let down even though they do have both male and female performers which is something more books need to do. hopefully it gets better in the next one. the only other complaint would be that it seems the main character is easily able to deal with any situation and the side characters are just there to show how good he is. maybe he will need help more next book. and lastly I'd say they could be a bit longer, I do love a long story.

Audio was a bit bricked
The audio was a bit bricked and choppy, with random dips and spikes in volume at random moments. The story itself was pretty interesting but the male narrator had trouble with remembering what voice went to which character and also didn’t have enough range to truly distinguish each character from another, often with one sounding very much like another, possibly causing the issue with mixing up characters.
The female characters narrator was decent but it was glaringly obvious that it was done in a separate studio entirely and spliced in after the fact.
