About this listen

In the journey of life, almost everyone has a reason for living. Are you among those who passionately seek comfort, pleasure, and long life, or that you’re just hoping to discover the secret of that cozy atmosphere of happiness, long and meaningful living that we all desire?

It’s time to learn how to unlock simple secrets we can all use in life through Ikigai and Hygge: a proven Japanese cultural method of bringing meaning and joy to daily living and the Danish philosophy of finding comfort and pleasure in soothing atmospheres or the feeling of friendship.

Ikigai & Hygge: The Pursuit of Happiness is a cursory exposition of how you can find your Ikigai and live a long and happy life through contentment and well-being that starts with cherishing the little things around you. With explicit details, the author has explained the principle of Ikigai, which teaches us to do what we love, as well as doing what brings remuneration and the world needs. Also, Hygge, a desire to create a comfortable atmosphere in life.

You will understand the importance of Ikigai and Hygge and how to achieve happiness with it through self-reflection, action plan, virtues, and emotions. The audiobook focuses on turning your work and leisure period into space for growth, drawing inspiration from the Japanese culture, and practicing Hygge's continual living.

Great introduction to Ikigai & Hygge

Really enjoyed this book. Although it is short and covers two topics it is packed with useful and practical suggestions. This book has enough information that the listener/reader can get started on discovering their Ikigai and practising Hygge straight away. Despite the fact that both ways of living come from different parts of the world they fit together seamlessly
