Publisher's Summary
In the vein of Mindy Kaling, Ali Wong and Amy Poehler, a collection of hilarious personal essays, and poems on the subjects of insecurity, fame, anxiety and much more from the charming and wickedly funny creator of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Rachel Bloom has felt abnormal and out of place her whole life. In this exploration of what she thinks makes her 'different', she's come to realise that a lot of people also feel this way - even people who she otherwise thought were 'normal'.
In a collection of laugh-out-loud funny essays, all told in the unique voice (sometimes singing voice) that made her a star, Rachel writes about everything from her love of Disney, OCD and depression, weirdness and female friendships to the story of how she didn't poop in the toilet until she was four years old. It's a hilarious, smart and infinitely relatable collection (except for the pooping thing).

I love Rachel Bloom
I listened to this book on a drive, to be able to spend time with Rachel Bloom made it the best car ride. I laughed out loud plenty and was so entertained. She is so honest and articulates her stream of anxiety and thoughts so well, bring on any more content.

Interesting and creative series of memoir essays
It was a fairly quick listen but I enjoyed it, even if the humour wasn’t always exactly my style.

Unlike that horrible twitter comment, this book does indeed prove that Rachel has talent.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and fun life stories.
Sincerely, a 20 year old from Australia who thinks you're pretty neat :)
