About this listen
In the third in Katharine Ashe's Prince Catchers series, the eldest of three very different sisters must fulfill a prophecy to discover their birthright. But if Eleanor is destined to marry a prince, why can't she resist the scoundrel who seduced her?
She can pour tea, manage a household, and sew a modest gown. In short, Eleanor Caulfield is the perfect vicar's daughter. Yet there was a time when she'd risked everything for a black-eyed gypsy who left her brokenhearted. Now he stands before her - dark, virile, and ready to escort her on a journey to find the truth about her heritage.
Leaving 11 years ago should have given Taliesin freedom. Instead he's returned to Eleanor, determined to have her all to himself, tempting her with kisses and promising her a passion she's so long denied herself. But if he was infatuated before, he's utterly unprepared for what will happen when Eleanor decides to abandon convention - and truly live....
Contains mature themes.

Excellent Finale to the series
My only criticisms of this book and the series as a whole is that sometimes the voices affected for the characters, especially the male characters did not fully lend themselves to the overall impression of who the character was, especially for the main character of Talison.
The wonderfully descriptive settings of the costumes, customs and characters of the time and the excellent banter between the main characters definitely brought these stories to life.
the subtle twists and turns of the plot and the manner in which it unfolded was both entertaining and maintained an air of intrigue
I particularly liked the authors comments in relation to the background of this series

I loved this book and the series
The last of the 3 books in the enjoyable Prince Catcher series focuses not only on Eleanor’s attempts to finally discover the siblings’ parentage, but also the decade-long unrequited love held between her and Taliesan. This is an emotive story and a bit of a tear-jerker. I enjoyed every minute of the journey to its conclusion which I found most satisfying. There’s a particular set-down Eleanor delivers to a nasty pastie at one point in the story which is pure gold. The sisters are uniquely different and their stories each have their own feel. I highly recommend this and the entire series.
