Interesting
My ex partner has bpd and after the breakup it left me lost and questioning myself.
This audio book helped relate and realise that most of it if not all was out of my control.
The constant switch between he / she was a bit annoying but overall it wasn’t bad
Plenty of information.. voice was a bit .. monotone but it did the job. Definitely something I’d reccomend, but be warned it does pull on the heart strings especially when you have someone suffering from bpd, it makes you realise they are not in control of their behaviours and it’s sad and I only wish more can be done for it.
Definitely reccomend the listen :)

Irksome use of he/she pronouns but otherwise okay
I found the constant switching backwards and forwards between “he” and “she” annoying. I get what they were trying to do, but it is a very dated approach to trying to be more inclusive. Gender neutral language exists, saying “they” covers everyone including non-binary people, removes the need to constantly change pronouns, and still fights the patriarchy.
Outside of that it was an interesting listen, certainly have gave me some ideas and areas for further research for my own practice.

Outdated and stigmatising
Sexualisation of patients, sexism, racism, and homophobia. This is so outdated and it’s damaging to an entire community of suffering people. There is better than this.
