Publisher's Summary

Tamara Thompson is a children’s author and poet residing in Simcoe, ON Canada, north of Toronto, ON. She was raised in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada.

This writer’s friends meant a lot to her, you would always find her telling and sharing stories, a true writer - who always had something to say. Talking about the fun and light times they all shared and speaking of years that had gone past. Growing up in the 1980’s and 1990’s, were her fondest memories were made with her friends. Her surroundings seemed like a big playground, spending her days bike riding, playing baseball, swimming, and skating with friends all around. She felt like she had the world at her feet, climbing tree’s and sitting out by the waterfronts. When she learned that she had a mental illness, all of this stopped and her dreams fell far behind her. She became embarrassed about her illness until she began to write.

With four published works, children’s books and poetry, her dreams became real again. She is the author of Before You Were Born, Happy Birthday Jack, Poems of a Codependant, and Busy With Bee and now her new works of poetry, I Dream In Poetry.
