About this listen

This audiobook includes an interview with Ozzy Osbourne from 2009.

People ask me how come I'm still alive, and I don't know what to say. When I was growing up, if you'd have put me up against a wall with the other kids from my street and asked me which one of us was gonna make it to the age of 60, with five kids and four grandkids and houses in Buckinghamshire and California, I wouldn't have put money on me, no f--king way. But here I am: ready to tell my story, in my own words, for the first time.

A lot of it ain't gonna be pretty. I've done some bad things in my time. But I ain't the devil. I'm just John Osbourne: a working-class kid from Aston, who quit his job in the factory and went looking for a good time.

Wild story from Legend

Been a sabbath and ozzy fan all my life and to get the story from his perspective is so refreshing to what i normally get from docos and interviews which in hindsight where far from the real story. Narrator was all time aswell, next best thing to the man himself

great book

Unfortunately it took a few goes to get into this book but he's definitely lived one hell of a life and is a good length story even with some of the boring bits. even though the narrating is abit average its still alot better than if Ozzy read it himself.

A good proper story

I liked that this book was very much telling a historic sequence of his life, what had happened and what he regretted felt very authentic

Also very humble not like a lot of other celebrities books where they constantly want to refer to the successes they have had.

Excellent narrator and captivating listen.

A great narrator captures Ozzy Osbourne's voice and personality very well. Interesting, sad, funny, absolutely batshit crazy stories (as you would come to expect from Ozzy) and entertaining autobiography about the lead man of Black Sabbath. A book about drugs, music, addiction, and how complicated having a family with fame can be. Contradictions abound. It feels as though Ozzy is part fiction and lies and equal parts truth. Highly recommended audiobook. Give it a go. It's mad.

What an incredible story well told.

What an incredible story well told. Typically, I don’t connect as well with autobiography’s read by someone other than the author, but Rupert Farleys narration is excellent and channels Ozzy’s essence beautifully. Highly recommend 👍

Amazing story!

This guy is truly amazing! After abusing his body for decades he is still here to tell the story!
Rupert does an awesome job of telling it as well!
Highly recommend 😊
