Brilliant book!
I had to read this book for a school assignment. This story is a brilliant story as it teaches every one important lessons. I love this book and I recommend it to all, it is 100% worth a 5 star rating

Beautiful narration of a classic story
The narrator brought back to me a story I’d not read since childhood, and did so beautifully. Ann Holm’s tale is one worth reading and listening to in any format.

"I am David" is riveting and unforgettable.
I had read this book many years ago and always wanted to read it again but it was very hard to find. This audible version was really good to listen to, and it was hard to make myself stop listening. The narrator had a pleasant voice and did an excellent job. The story of David's escape from a concentration camp and his long and difficult journey alone and mostly on foot, through several different European countries as a twelve-year-old boy to find somewhere safe to live, is eye-opening and well worth reading or listening to.

Very emotional
It is a very hard core and specific book. You must have a specific knowledge to read it. The story is not the best but the way she has written it in a deep and personal way. Attending to every detail makes it worthwhile reading this book.

Par Excellance!!
First read this book at High School for English Literature. Then read it again as an adult because I loved it. This time listening to it with Audible was an even better way of consuming every page and day of David's life. There are not enough superlatives to describe the essence of how this story effects the emotions of the Heart. It is just so touching! I would recommend it to any age group and yes, I would even read it again!!

How I Feel About this Book
I loved it, the story was really nice, the narrator was really good and my most memorable moment was, unfortunately, when the dog died.
I'm so sad about the dog but I loved the story and the narrator was great.
