Optional is not Optional?

It would be better if the narrator didn't use a editorial voice.

Story to story transition needs a audible mark. When people listen they cannot see the paragraphs.

Age-old Effective Advice Although Repetitive

When people say this book must be read, I agree. It is filled with simple instructions and advice to win over the people around but does not utilise sinister or ill-willed manipulative tactics like some other similar books instruct. That being said, some of the principles are pretty much the same, just worded and titled differently so it does get a little repetitive. Do the principles work? Most likely, because if you look at them as if someone was acting that way towards you, you would probably receive that person well. However, they are only as effective as the person who studies them, remembers them, implements them, utilises them, and thus makes them habitual.
