Helpful advice

I have listened to How to Survive the Empty Nest twice so far. First when suddenly sadness and guilt overwhelmed me. When I got over that and could think clearly, I listened to her book again. The second time I was able to look forward to the future and all the different things I could do. Pamela covered every possible circumstance and how to deal with it. I could relate to her story as she mentioned that she was a single parent in an empty house. I received a sense of hope and purpose after hearing her story and how she tried different things to survive. Pamela helped me to get over parenting guilt when she talked about how the generations before us made many parenting mistakes which are now seen as strange. I am very thankful for her book. It brings me hope and courage.
