About this listen
Are you tired of paying utility bills? Are you looking for a simpler lifestyle? Is someone stalking you and making your life miserable? If so, then this book is for you! Maybe you’re ready to disappear from society and start over!
When I first began preparing to leave the clutches of civilization and pursue my desire to live off-grid, I had many people ask me why. There were so many reasons as to what made me want to dive into that lifestyle. Some people even thought I might be going crazy, and I won’t lie, occasionally I wondered if I wasn’t going mad myself.
However crazy it may have seemed, I had to know if I could do it. Whether I could successfully unplug from the life I had always known, to return to a life that was once the only one our ancestors knew. I wanted to break away from the modern constraints that caused me to feel bound and the stresses that seemed to come in endless waves.
I often consider whether this pandemic would’ve caused less trouble had more people were already living off the grid. Being dependent on oneself for life-sustaining vittles would mean fewer people were out at the grocery store shopping. The more you can provide for yourself, the less you have to rely on others.
I suppose you could say that’s why I’m writing this book. To help those who want to learn how to prepare and make the switch to off-grid living. Once you get a taste of that life, the thought of fading into the background of nature might present itself.
I have to bring more than the mere basics; I want to share everything I wish I had known beforehand. You know? Those little things that people sometimes forget to mention. The good, the bad, and everything between.
