Publisher's Summary

After years of dismissive doctors and misinformation, Bridget Hustwaite finally received a diagnosis for her intensely heavy periods, pulsing headaches and the excruciating abdominal pain that makes her ovaries feel like they are on fire. She has endometriosis – hard to pronounce, hard to diagnose and even harder to live with.

Two excision surgeries and one thriving endo Instagram community later, Bridget knows firsthand how much personal research and self-advocating endo sufferers have to do just to have their pain acknowledged. With her trademark enthusiasm, Bridget has blended her own experience with a raft of tips and strategies from health experts and endo warriors to help you thrive whenever you can, and survive on days when you just can't. Covering everything from diet to acupuncture, fertility to mental health and surgery to sex, How to Endo is the essential guide to navigating this sucker punch of a chronic illness.

Inspiring, vivacious and completely honest, Bridget's audiobook is for everyone on the endo spectrum – the battle-hardened warriors, the newly diagnosed and those still searching for answers.

Great book for anyone

Cannot recommend enough. I'm a male with friends, family, and other loved ones with this condition. I gave this book a whirl to better understand how I can best support them, and up my own knowledge about this challenging condition. Everything about this book was fantastic, from the bite sized information I could take away to digest, the practical advice, and Bridget's narration style made it easy to listen to. highly recommend to any others looking to understand how they can be there for people in their own lives with Endo.

Informative and engaging, a great insight into Endo and chronic pain

As someone who is currently in the investigation stage with no diagnosis as of yet, I found this book incredibly useful on what to expect from the process and tools to help along the way.

The approach of taking charge of your journey is inspiring and I appreciated the humour and storytelling throughout the book.

Relating strongly to the experiences shared in this book I now feel more seen and heard, confident to take on my own journey with a better perspective.

Nothing you can’t find on Google.

I can appreciate this woman’s drive. I got diagnosed 7 days ago and got this e book 2 days ago. I did not learn one thing from this book unfortunately, I had already googled for about 10 hours and knew most information. If you haven’t done any research at ALL then I would get it but if you’ve done some then this will be a waste of listening.
