Enemies to lovers perfection
This was a lovely read. I followed Yulin’s work as a director and a screenwriter years ago, and unsurprisingly, a novel from her is just as wonderful. I laughed, I teared up, I felt my heart race with every romantic moment. Definitely a keeper ❤️

Awful male narration
I could not stand the male narrator in this book. He EMPASISED nearly EVERY WORD in the SENTENCE. I also did not enjoy the misogynistic vibes in some of the sex scenes of making the female character beg or plead. I normally love rom coms but I can’t understand how this got 5 stars from all the previous reviewers. I thought maybe it would have a clever plot twist or something to make up for its shortcomings, but no, the ending was just as predictable as you’d expect of a rom com.

Predictable
Predictable love story. Way too pornographic for my listening taste. Male narrator’s voice was obnoxious, tried too hard to sound “sexy”
