About this listen

The cause of back pain is often not what you expect.

There is too much focus on disc herniations. Quite often the problem is a lack of blood supply to the spine. Atherosclerosis accumulates on the posterior wall of the abdominal aorta and plugs up the lumbar arteries that supply the spine. Multilevel disc degeneration develops.

Degenerated discs lose their radial strength and disc herniations occur. Degenerated discs gradually lose their cushion function and bone spurs called osteophytes form to compensate. These osteophytes cause central spinal stenosis and foraminal stenosis. Fat from meat, junk food and vegetable oils is deposited in the central canal and called "epidural lipomatosis".

All this and much more is explained in the audiobook, including how to treat it. Dr. Rogers is a Stanford-and-Harvard-trained MD with 25 years experience diagnosing and treating back pain. New insights in this audiobook will help you to decrease and prevent back pain.
