What a story
An intricate story. Can’t wait for the next book. The narrator took a little warming up to. Maybe 30 minutes but then you realise she is perfect for the book

Great story
Excellent story and narrator. However I felt that there needed to be more variation when it came to the males voices. They all sounded the same and the tanner of their voices didn’t reflect the characters at all.

This story was epic!
Just the right amount of adventure and romance. I instantly became immersed in this one and binged listened until it was finished. Loved the narrator as well! Can’t want to get into book 2.

good story weird narrator
I enjoyed the story and plot but the Narrator had a really weird style and accent - saying things like thought as "thot" and calm as "colm", caught as "cot", palm as "pulm."
I don't know if it was an attempt to sound more posh but it was really distracting.

The narrator made it!
I loved the Falon’s internal monologue. She is so likable. Between the three books there were so many times I laughed it loud. The love scene in the second book was also written beautifully and tenderly.. it wasn’t crass (as so many are). The narrator is FANTASTIC. Her delivery is perfect!
The action and story isn’t as complex and intricate as other fantasy novels, but it’s enjoyable, easy to read and light.
