About this listen

Spending their honeymoon sailing between the small and little-explored islands of the South Pacific is something of which Lyn and Philip have always dreamed. After all, what could be more romantic than sipping from a cool glass of wine whilst anchored off a pristine white beach?

An introduction to a visiting anthropologist doing research for a book she is writing on cannibals soon reveals the sinister underbelly to what the couple had thought was an idyllic island lifestyle. They quickly come to realize that beneath what they had imagined was a life of bliss and serenity lurks a primitive and brutal secret.

The anthropologist soon exposes them to a flesh-eating culture they had assumed no longer existed, and they find themselves being dragged into a world of fear that no honeymoon should include. How they deal with the situation will become a test of their courage and their newly consecrated marriage.
