About this listen
"My soul, rest thou only in God, for my hope is from him." (Psalm 62:5)
The discussions in this little book are not supposed to be arguments. It was not my aim to convince an opponent but to assist a friend. How I have personally threaded the labyrinth of life thus far may be of helpful interest to some other soul who is in a maze. I hope that this book will assist some true heart to say “he fought his doubts and gather’d strength”. Let no man’s heart fail him, for, the prevalent skepticism of today are but “specters of the mind”. Face them, and they fly.
About the author: Charles Haddon (C. H.) Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British baptist preacher. He started preaching at age 17 and quickly became famous. He is still known as the “prince of preachers” and frequently had more than 10,000 people present to hear him preach at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. His sermons were printed in newspapers, translated into many languages, and published in many books.
