When the world ended, Henry certainly had his hands full keeping his clan alive.
After all, it's no easy task bringing electricity back to the world, much less raising animals, expanding the farm, and everything in between. Still, given enough time, he could do it all.

Great 2. Book of this FMF Survival Romance Series
This series gets better with every book! Not only is the world building authentic and the main characters are believable & loveably down to Earth humans, but the plot is well thought out and keeps you on the edge. The villains are fleshed out as real psychos and every aspect of the story from animal husbandry, geography, tech/ military lingo to weaponry is well researched and put together in an easily flowing style of writing even a technologically challenged reader like me can follow. And FYI, although the hero of the story engages in permanent relationships with more than one female character, there are no female on female sexual relations in this story and also no cheating. The narration is absolutely fitting this story and brings the characters to life. I can absolutely recommend this series to men or women alike. It has a lot of heart & soul ...and humour!

Started ok but
I was listening to the first book and liked it so much I bought the second book before finishing the first one. Big mistake! Part way through the first book it becomes a giant male fantasy. Too much detail of guns and cars and the hero becomes irresistible to all females. Ruined a good story.

multiple wives plot line is a juvenile wet dream
the main story line is interesting enough, but interspersed with a young man's fantasy of having lots of women drowling over him. the sex scenes are laughable. sad and peurile
