Music tunes + sound effects
Not sure why all the theatrical sounds were introduced. Made it feel like a theme park ride.. not a fan as when I’m listening to this in the car, it was very much a sensory overload and a rude shock to the system after being a fan of this series. It’s a shame as the storyline was great, as was the performers.. just not the sound effects.

The radio show format was fun as a once off
I enjoyed the story and the radio show format was entertaining. I hope this presentation style doesn't get overused though.

Change and adjustment
Quite a change in listening style. I became accustomed to R.C. Beats style, the dramatic change of new voices took a little time to adjust. The background elevator music was distracting. Enjoyed the story.

Decent Story but with some caveats
its too short for the money.
there is too many sounds and music playing making it very distracting to listen to.
I wasn't all that happy with it and will issue a refund. if it was a $5 book then ok, but not for $16 or the same price as any other longer book on audible.

Everything was solid but..
The story was good not overly complicated and I can see this must be like the mavericks a way to expand on the story without making the original series to complex within its self . I just struggled with the format. didn't hate it just didn't love it. when I listen to the standard format with a RC BRAY I usually always feel it deserves 4-5 stars not the 3 i have given this .

Overall entertaining but...
Some scenes were painful to listen to and drawn out. Much prefer the regular audio books.

Second time around
The first time I listened to this I liked it but was unshaw if it was better than just R.C. Bray reading it alone. The second time I listened to it you can appreciate how awesome it actually is. great work Craig
