About this listen
Not everything is roses, chocolates, and vibrators in Zara's life...until Talon, Hawks MC president, wants to claim her as his.
Zara Edgingway is a 26-year-old secretary. She has a daughter who apparently knows it all and a best friend who could possibly have the mouth of Satan, but she's been with her through hell and back. Then there's the hunk-a-licious biker neighbor finally showing interest in her.
If only she wasn't about to face her next obstacle in life, the one she ran from six years ago: her ex-husband.
Talon Marcus is the president of the Hawks Motorcycle Club. For two years he's had his eye on the quiet, reclusive, yet sassy neighbor Zara. Finally, he has the chance to claim her as his woman. Just when her past catches up with her, she'll need not only his protection but help from his biker brothers.
Now, if only she'd stop fighting him along the way.

Ok story, terrible narration
Would've been better to read than listen to this one. Narration was just wrong. Voices didn't match the story, characters not differentiated well enough so hard to tell who's who at points.

Good story, terrible narration
Couldn’t get into it, the narration just doesn’t suit the story. Can’t define between characters. Has the potential to be fantastic, the introduction of a male narrator would solve this.

Disappointing
I have read this while series previously and loved them. However I couldn’t even get through the whole audiobook. The narration wasn’t good at all. The female lead has but emphasis on weird parts of the story and breaks where there didn’t need to be. Felt kind of robotic. Couldn’t even get the the male lead. So unfortunate.

Storyline was great, narration a let down
Struggled with the narration of this book. I also felt a little like I was listening to one of the storylines from Sons of Anarchy with the stalker Cohn tracking down Tara. Overall, I still enjoyed the story, just not the narration.

narration a let down
I loved this book and thought the audio book would be fantastic as I love audio books. well I was wrong. This audio book was huge let down. The female narrator was very slow and constantly paused in between words. both narrators were not up to what the bom should be. The was no dialog chance when they were reading what the characters were saying. It was the same tone all the way through the book. I guess I'm just spoiled when it comes to audio books. So many other narrators would have done a much better job. sorry guys but that's my opinion.

Great read
The story was great. The male lead voice didn't match the character description but was still able to keep the action enthralling.

Good story line
Good story line but narrators weren’t distinguished between characters so was a little hard to tell which character was saying what. Still worth a listen tho 🙂

Holding Out
I love love love the story line, the characters, everything. I’ve read the book a few times and adored them so thought I’d try the audio so I could listen too. I was honestly disappointed with the performance though. The female narrator puts breaks in strange parts of the book and makes it feel like there are full stops etc in portions of the book I know aren’t there. The male narrator had a lot of high intensity parts to read and there was not inflection in his voice to portray the intense situations. I also found when there was a running dialogue it was difficult to figure who was saying what because there was no voicing changes for characters. I struggled to really get lost in the audio like I can reading the book.
Overall I don’t think I’ll listen to this one again honestly, I’ll stick to rereading the book.

Good Story
Overall the story is awesome, I’ve read the books a few times now. The voices however are lacking. Talon’s voice is WAY too young, Zara’s voice is youthful but maybe a touch too youthful. Still a good story!!
